Andrew Solender – Editor-in-Chief

Andrew (’20) is a political science major and history correlate. He has worked as an intern at MSNBC, a political reporter for Chronogram Magazine, Inside Sources and City & State NY, and has been published in the Poughkeepsie Journal and Psychology Today. He also plays on the varsity squash team.

Teddy David – Managing Editor, Treasurer

Teddy (’22) is a prospective history major with interests in political science and international relations. He is from New York City, and he enjoys classical music and reading history. He is also a member of VOICE and the Vassar College Republicans.

Julian Aguilar – Digital Editor

Julian (’23) is a prospective Science, Technology, and Society major with interests in educational and healthcare policy and urban studies. He is also a freelance designer, specializing in branding and digital design and management. He is from Turlock, California and enjoys bingeing his favorite Netflix shows with a good cup of coffee.

Adam Chapnik – Senior Politics Editor

Adam (’22) is a prospective economics and philosophy major with interests in politics, social psychology, and data science. He is also involved in the Vassar Debate Society. He is from Boston and enjoys reading and listening to music.

Alexia Oerter – Deputy Politics Editor

Alexia (’21) is an English major on exchange from the University of Exeter in England. She has written for Exeposé, the Exeter Student newspaper, and was also published in the University of Exeter Literary Journal. She is originally from Belgium (French-speaking part) and enjoys watching BBC adaptations with numerous cups of tea.

Yinguang Zhao – Deputy Politics Editor

Yinguang (’23) is a prospective Political Science major from Beijing. He is an academic assistant in VeritasChina, promoting Liberal Arts Education for Chinese student. He used to be the chief editor of his high school’s online news agency, Imaginist.
