Andrew Solender – Editor-in-Chief
Andrew (’20) is a political science major and history correlate. He has worked as a political reporter for Chronogram Magazine, Inside Sources, and City & State NY, and has been published in the Poughkeepsie Journal and Psychology Today. He is a member of the debate society and plays varsity squash.

Politics

Teddy David – Senior Politics Editor
Teddy (’22) is a prospective history major with interests in political science and international relations. He is from New York City, and he enjoys classical music and reading history. He is also a member of VOICE and the Vassar College Republicans.

Anya Bégué – Deputy Politics Editor
Anya (’22) is a prospective political science major pursuing an Arabic correlate, with interests in public policy and foreign affairs. She has interned with Environment Massachusetts, served as the Student Member for her town’s Energy Advisory Committee, and is now the Chief Editor of Eutopya Magazine. She also competes on Vassar’s varsity track team.

Adam Chapnik – Deputy Politics Editor
Adam (’22) is a prospective economics and philosophy major with interests in politics, social psychology, and data science. He is also involved in the Vassar Debate Society. He is from Boston and enjoys reading and listening to music.

Policy and Finance

Alex Wilson – Communications Officer, Senior Policy and Finance Editor
Alex (’22) is a prospective political science and economics major with interests in global infrastructure and minority representation in government. He has interned for multiple Congressional campaigns and worked for Cincinnati non-profit ArtWorks. He enjoys listening to podcasts, snuggling with his cat, and hammocking at Sunset Lake.

Alex Wilson – Deputy Policy and Finance Editor
Aena (’22) is an international studies major with interests in English and Arabic. She has interned with the New York State Assembly, the Rural and Migrant Ministry, and works with the Miscellany News and the Vassar Refugee Solidarity. In her free time she enjoys a good book or tv show with a cup of coffee. 


Campus and Culture

Gina Pepitone – Senior Campus & Culture Editor
Gina (’22) is a prospective media studies major with interests in Hispanic studies and cognitive science. She is involved with other publications at Vassar including The Miscellany News and Contrast. She enjoys reading, singing, and playing basketball.

Sarah Kopp – Deputy Campus & Culture Editor
Sarah (’22) is a prospective political science and sociology major with interests in women’s studies and journalism. She is from Long Island and enjoys music and all things social justice. She has won several awards from the Long Island Press Club, Long Island University (LIU Post), and other local organizations. She is currently a member of the Women’s Chorus.

Other Staff

Adlai Brandt-Ogman – Editorial Cartoonist
Adlai (‘21) is a prospective Media Studies Major. He has contributed to the Fumetto Magazine and has designed shirts for Vassar’s fencing team. In addition to his interest in art, he’s on Vassar’s Men’s Fencing varsity team and plays classical guitar.
