Andrew Solender, Editor-in-Chief

Andrew Solender ’20 is a political science major and history correlate. He has worked as a political reporter for Chronogram Magazine, Inside Sources, and City & State NY, and has been published in the Poughkeepsie Journal and Psychology Today. He is a member of the debate society and plays varsity squash.



Hallie Carton, Managing Editor

Hallie Carton ’21 is a prospective English major with interests in political science and religion studies. She enjoys singing, writing music and short stories, and taking pictures of her cat.




Kenneth Deterding, Senior Editor

Kenneth Deterding ’20 is an economics major interested in public finance and policy. He is a member of the Vassar Debate Society, plays the violin, and enjoys watching Secular Talk with Kyle Kulinski.




Tiana Headley – Junior Editor and Treasurer

Tiana Headley ’22 is a prospective political science major with interests in Russian studies and education studies. She is interested in writing about race, education, and politics. She is a former intern for The Miami Herald, a program assistant for the ALANA center, and loves reading Dostoevsky’s works.



Teddy David – Junior Editor

Teddy David ’22 is a prospective history major with interests in political science and international relations. He is from New York City, and he enjoys classical music and reading history. He is also a member of VOICE and the Vassar College Republicans.




Gina Pepitone – Junior Editor

Gina Pepitone ’22 is a prospective media studies major with interests in hispanic studies and cognitive science. She is involved with other publications at Vassar including The Miscellany News and Contrast. In her free time she enjoys reading, singing, and playing basketball.



Julie Zhang, Digital Manager

Julie ‘Jiawen’ Zhang ’21 is a prospective economics and computer science double major with interest in the financial market and Chinese-U.S. relations. She will also be serving as the Senator of Activities for the class of 2021. She enjoys playing the piano, critiquing films, and playing tennis. She is also a member of Vassar Debate.



Alex Wilson, Communications Officer

Alex Wilson ’22 is a prospective political science and economics major with interests in global infrastructure and minority representation in government. He has interned for multiple Congressional campaigns and worked for Cincinnati non-profit ArtWorks. He enjoys listening to podcasts, snuggling with his cat, and hammocking at Sunset Lake.
